Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

What a beautiful heart! The heart of she who heard the word of God and kept it. When this humble Jewish virgin was told that She was to bear the Eternal Son of God she said yes. The Sacred Heart of Jesus was formed in Her. She became the Mother of God and Mother of us all. She always pondered over the life of her Son. Out of all His creatures, She’s the only one who loved Him the most. At the foot of Her Son’s cross, Her heart was pierced through while His was. The mother’s sorrow at the death of her child must be the painful, a multiplication of child birth. He’d give us her to us be our Mother–Mary, His good and faithful servant, worthy of all imitation.

She gives us her heart, pure and spotless, a Motherly and consoling heart always looking out for us her children.

The Immaculate Heart is the Heart of the Perfect Woman, beautiful in body and soul.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death!
