What sacrifices were made for the freedom of the USA. They continue to be made. Without sacrifice there can be no victory—that was one of the main themes of the new Transformers movie (which of course I’ll be posting more about soon). Freedom is the ability to do what you ought to do. This is worth sacrificing for. Optimus Prime said—to quote Transformers again—“Freedom is the right of all sentient beings”. Unfortunately, it’s a right we often abuse and take for granted. On this July 4th, 2007 let us remember the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our Nation’s freedom.
