1OO Faces of War Experience is a project by an artist by the name of Matthew Mitchell. Very inspiring portraits painted in oil and words of Americans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. This is a really beautiful and fitting tribute–an artistic effort that helps us (the general public) to really respect, honor and love these veterans and civilians who experienced war–men and women from different backgrounds.
I found out about 1OO Faces of War Experience from the site for U.S. Army Major and Chaplain, Fr. Tim Vakoc, who was injured in Iraq. He could use our prayers and even emails (padretim92ATmsn.com)!
