There is a great feeling of enthusiasm over the Pope’s visit to the USA–from not just Catholics! From the Washington Metro issuing special Papal Mass all-day rail passes… to mainstream news coverage… to the President and the White House… even Sen. Obama issues a statement to welcome the Pope!

As for Catholics:

Rocco at Whispers from the Loggia has a post encouraging bells to be rung at 4:00pm EST when Pope Benedict touches down at Andrews AFB.

There is an “Official Papal Skateboard” designed by children of the Archdiocese of New York. Children in DC will sing “Happy Birthday”!
