King Louis IX of France is a canonized Saint! Many places in the world bear his name, most notably St. Louis, Missouri. A king, a Saint.

King Louis is a great example of holiness for ‘ordinary’ lay people—he was not a monk or a priest. The guy was a politician! He was married and had 11 children. Holiness is for everyone… and the life of St. Louis illustrates this.
