Adonai, and Ruler of the house of Israel, Who didst appear unto Moses in the burning bush, and gavest him the law in Sinai, come to redeem us with an outstretched arm!

The Mighty Lord who appeared in fire and in thick clouds with lightning upon Sinai makes Himself a little baby. The Lawgiver comes down to redeem us with outstretched arms of flesh!
