O King of the Gentiles and their desired One, the Cornerstone that makes both one; Come, and deliver man, whom You formed out of the dust of the earth.

Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone that unites Jews and Gentiles. He comes for all people (man), His Kingdom is for all people—He wants to reign in all hearts as King. The Infant King is a threat for the kingdom of darkness (symbolized by King Herod) because He comes to deliver man from the kingdom of darkness and bring us into the kingdom of light!
