He’s the patron saint for finding lost things—i found so many things through the intercession of St. Anthony. All i’ve had to do was just bring the Saint to mind and if the thing needs to be found it usually is. Whenever i feel i’m losing my devotion to Christ i pray to St. Anthony—especially right before receiving the Holy Eucharist. I recall how the Christ Child *appeared to St. Anthony who welcomed Him with such great love. (*Once, the Christ Christ appeared right before the bell rang for community prayer. Telling Jesus he would be back, St. Anthony diligently went and fulfilled his duty. When he returned the Christ Child was still there! He said, “Anthony if you had not gone i would have disappeared”.
