Our Lady of Guadalupe

Peace everybody. It’s been a while since I posted. I’ve been crazy busy writing essays for the English class in taking. But since today is the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, you know I had to write something here…

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a day of celebration for the Americas from Alaska to South America. More than 500 years ago the Mother of God appeared at the center of the New World to show forth God’s love for the people that knew Him not. She appeared to St. Juan Diego, a native American. As proof of her miraculous apparition, the Lady from Heaven left her image imprinted on a cactus fiber garment, a tilma, that has lasted for all these years.

The Immaculate Virgin appeared in Advent, bearing the Savior of the Nations in her womb… she ushers Him into the world…
