Tragic news from Pakistan today. Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, minister for religious minorities and the only Christian in Pakistan’s cabinet, was murdered by Muslim extremists. Bhatti fought for the rights of Christians and he died doing so: “I am a man who has burnt his bridges. I cannot and will not go back on this commitment. I will fight fanaticism and fight in defense of Christians to the death.”
